Motivation

We are always willing to develop novel technology solutions for the benefit of society with great sense of ethical responsibility.

But what is our motivation?



It motivates us every day the necessity to develop technology solutions to help more than a billion people around the world that are estimated to live with some form of disability according to the World Report on Disability carried out by the World Health Organization (2011). In Mexico alone, 5.1% of the population suffer from some type of disability (INEGI, 2010).

Even if there are a lot of researchers and companies developing technology to help these people, nowadays prostheses and health gadgets in the third world and developing countries are virtually inaccessible. Over priced products and long wait periods are some of the problems that each patient has to face in order to receive the aid they need.
